Frustrating

MacWorld keynote is today. I'd like to watch it. So far I've discovered:
1) Ars Java IRC client cannot connect
2) Cannot get PuTTY to connect to any SSH servers to IRC that way.
3) Webcast is delivered via QT 7. I have QT 6.5 installed at work.
4) I'm getting pretty discouraged.
